Sometimes I feel like I'm too old to go to shows.
Sometimes I feel like I should hang it up and grow up and be an adult.
Trade in all my band tees and black jeans for pastel colored polo shirts and khaki shorts.
Then a show like the one the other night happens that reminds me why I go to shows and why I love music.
Sometimes I just need to be reminded.

I feel growing up isn't about wearing polos and khakis. It's about growing up to be the person you set out to be. For some people it may be wearing a polo. For others, it's wearing a band shirt and making sure music lives on. Don't be discouraged because your path may be the road less traveled. It's unique to you. Always be true to yourself. As the show reminded you, it will always make you a much happier person.
